Baking with Natural Sweeteners

Good Afternoon GlowGetters!

‘Tis the season to be jolly… Fa la la la la la la la la!! It’s also time for holiday entertaining, which means if you’re like me you’ll be baking up a storm for the next month. While it’s true I follow a (mostly) raw diet, I do consume some cooked foods while cooking, and even a cooked meal here and there. I have only one rule and that is I follow a plant-based diet. I don’t have to always eat whole foods, or oil-free but it must not contain animal products. I just feel better that way.

So in the interest of all things tasty, I’ve been planning my holiday menus and felt I should share some healthful sugar swaps for you this holiday season.

I’m currently deciding between these holiday treats for my dessert menus. I always feel best when eating a dessert made with LOVE. Really, I do. Anyways, here are my contenders (let me know if you make any of these too!) :

Raw Persimmon Cheesecake

Baked Cheesecake Bites

Raw Brownies with Chocolate Ganache

Baked Chocolate Raspberry Brownies

Vegan Pecan Pie (my mom’s favourite)

Raw Chai Bars with Cream Cheese Frosting

Happy baking everyone! These are so flavourful, your families won’t notice these are refined-sugar free! Xx
